1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KikuAI services, product previews, or request forms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Service Description

KikuAI is a small site for useful tools. The site may include live previews, request forms, documentation, project-library pages, and experimental tools. Services are provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, archived, or removed at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate contact information when submitting a preview request
• You must only submit content you have the right to process
• You are responsible for keeping issued API keys and email access secure
• You must keep private capability links secure and must not resell or publish them

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or spam
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

5. Payment Terms

Supported paid tools use one shared internal balance. 100 internal credits represent USD 1 before tax, credits do not expire, and each tool shows its charge before the balance is used. Credits are tied to one KikuAI account and may not be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash. Purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Fees are refundable only as specified in our Refund Policy or required by law. The account checkout optionally adds 600 credits for USD 5 without automatic renewal.

A completed Paddle payment creates or links the KikuAI account that matches the verified payer email. Sign in with that email to see and use the remaining balance. Payment-card details stay with Paddle.

Automatic Subtitles offers a rate-limited watermarked caption preview before payment. The preview may show up to ten sample captions and does not include the full MP4 or SRT. Usage costs USD 0.20 per started minute, capped at USD 5 for one source video up to 30 minutes and 500 MB. A direct checkout has a USD 1 minimum: it adds at least 100 credits to the payer-email account, spends only the duration charge for that video, and leaves any unused amount in the shared balance. A signed-in user with enough balance spends only the duration charge, with no minimum. The purchase upgrades that same temporary job without another upload. Automatic transcription may contain errors and must be reviewed before accessibility, legal, medical, broadcast, or other high-stakes use. Temporary media artifacts expire within 24 hours.

The Automatic Subtitles API uses the shared balance at 20 credits per started minute, capped at 500 credits per video. API upload validation and duration quoting do not transcribe or spend credits. Transcription starts only after the client sends the exact current quote as expected_credits; repeating that start for the same job is idempotent. The API has no free transcription allowance. API keys must be kept on a trusted server, and API jobs and downloadable artifacts expire within 24 hours.

PATAS uses its daily free allowance first, then charges 19 credits per additional audit. A USD 19 checkout adds 1,900 credits. PATAS returns audit evidence, not live moderation enforcement, legal review, or guaranteed blocking decisions. Existing product-specific PATAS allowances remain usable where shown.

A private permanent friend capability may grant unlimited automatic jobs with no duration quota. Each source file remains limited to 500 MB, and technical availability, serial processing, temporary storage, and provider safety controls still apply. KikuAI may revoke or rotate that capability to prevent misuse.

6. Limitation of Liability

KikuAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.
